Summer Teachers

Make a difference everyday! Located in Arlington, Virginia, near the Ballston Metro, Kinhaven School is a friendly and warm environment for children between the ages of 14 months and 5 years dedicated to learning through play. A parent-run cooperative school, Kinhaven is seeking a nurturing, innovative and dynamic Education Director to oversee daily operations of the school. Hours are 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. We offer a competitive salary based on experience, and an attractive benefits package.

We are looking for several lead teachers to join us for the summer. Our summer session begins June 23, 2008, and lasts eight-weeks. Take a look at our summer program information to get a feel for what the summer is like at Kinhaven. Person should be energetic and enthusiastic.

Days and hours of employment:
M-Th 9:00 am - 1:30 pm

Qualifications:
Applicants should have a BA in Early Childhood Education or related field, OR two years of college (to include 15 semester hours of child development or ECE), OR HS/GED + CDA - in addition to teaching experience.
